Do you allow pets?

Pets are allowed in some of our homes. Pets are subject to the approval of management. Factors that are considered include number of pets to be living in the home, the breed, and the age of the pets. Our typical pet deposit is $250 per pet and is non-refundable.

How do I hold a home until I am ready to move in?

A reservation payment by cash, money order or certified funds is required to hold a home. This payment will be applied to your first month’s rent when you move in. This reservation fee is non-refundable because when we hold a home for you, we take it off the market. We typically do not hold a home longer than 2 weeks.

How much is the security deposit?

Security Deposits vary. Factors such as the number of people living in the home, job history and credit all affect the amount of deposit. Most clients find our security deposits are very reasonable for a single family home. What is your “Rent to Own” plan?

VanMeter Properties offers a “rent to own” program that gives you the option to purchase the home you are leasing. We also allow you to transfer your option to any of our other homes that are available when you are ready to purchase. For more information on this plan, please call Todd (770) 540-5124.

What payment plans do you offer?

For the monthly rent plan, the payment is due on the first of every month. This option serves our clients who like the ease of making one payment each month.

For the bi-weekly rent option, the payment is due every other Friday. For this option, you need less money to move into a home and you can coordinate your rent with your pay schedule.
